Is staring at your computer's desktop image of little Billy's ninth birthday party triggering a mid life crisis?

Are you dehydrated from drooling over the latest desktop you got from one of those shows where they build a whole bike in an hour that costs more than the mortagage on your house?

Give cool a break. Go back to a simpler time when all bikes were created equal. They all broke down before scheduled maintenance and the logo was on the tank, not a bumper sticker.

Lyrics like "Can't quit, can't know, can't get, can't go can't change, can't be, change me, change me...while I keep the faith." from Keep the Faith or "The lights that gave you meaning, blacked out with a thunder crack. Your system fell careening, and it won't be coming back." from Road... those words that Dave ( Peightal ) wrote come from a place that I was living in when I wrote the script for Brethren.

They visit the same thoughts and even though Just Us and Brethren were written by two different people at different times, they lock in to a very complimentary relationship. A gritty, hard, honest look at frustrations doesn't overpower a message of hope, change and redemption.

Well, all this and I was in the band so I get to use the recordings for free...
